School and High School classes and classes from other youth education programs
To ensure the best experience for both your group and our other guests, visits to Christiansborg Palace must always be arranged in advance. School groups must, unless otherwise agreed, remain together and under the supervision of a teacher or adult.

Changes regarding visits by school classes on their own
As the management of Christiansborg Palace transitions to the Royal Danish Collection at the turn of the year, school classes visiting Christiansborg Palace on their own will, going forward, be required to pay an entrance fee of 175 DKK per class.
This change will take effect on January 1, 2025.

Mysterious ruins
Beneath Christiansborg Palace lie the mysterious ruins of Absalon’s Castle and Copenhagen Castle.
During the guided tour, we will explore Absalon’s Castle both outside and inside the old ring wall and examine the remains of the Blue Tower from Copenhagen Castle, where the king’s daughter Leonora Christina was imprisoned for 21 years.

Hvidkalkede heste og eventyrlige kareter
The royal family’s beautiful white carriage horses reside in the Royal Stables at Christiansborg Palace.
During the guided tour, we visit the horses and carriages, hear about Christian V’s over 300-year-old spotted horse, and learn how children and ladies in elegant dresses used to ride in the old days.

The King’s Workplace
The King works at Christiansborg, which is also where the royal family hosts many of their grand celebrations.
Join us as we explore the gilded halls, hear fascinating stories about the palace, and see princes and princesses depicted in the many beautiful paintings and tapestries.
